The bill (Reg. No. 2591) suggests recognize military reserve service as a special kind of performance of military duty; distinguish between the terms “reservist” and “a person bound to military service”; determine mechanism of attracting reservists for solving the tasks of the Armed Forces and other military forces; extend the rights, obligations and restrictions, stipulated by the law for military men, to reservists; etc.
It is stipulated to amend laws “On the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, “On the Defence of Ukraine”, “On mobilization preparation and mobilization”, and “On Military Duty and Military Service”.
It was also noted that some remarks and proposals of the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat were taken into consideration when refining the bill.
